Compaction Equipment
We have a varying range of compactor plates, trench rammers and rollers for all your hire needs.

Compactor plates are available in 300mm and 400mm base sizes for compaction of sub-bases, tarmac, driveways and patios. The smaller plates can be fitted with a rubber mat to reduce damage to patio and driveway blocks.

Trench rammers are mainly used for compacting trenches and are available in both 230mm and 280mm base size.

We also have a Single Drum Vibrating Roller which runs on diesel. This has a width of 820mm and an operating weight of 435kg, the machine can either be delivered or can be collected on a trailer from our yard.

Cement Mixers
We carry a large fleet of Belle heavy duty 4/3 cement mixers, these are available to hire in either 240v, 110v or Petrol engine. These are suitable for smaller jobs, such as mortar mixing and concrete for driveways, shed bases and wall foundations. For larger site work we also carry hire stock of Diesel 5/3 ½ cement mixers. These can either be delivered or collected from our yard.

Water Pumps and Drainage
We carry various water pumps for removing water from various areas in stock. Electric 2” submersible pumps are available to pump out pits, trenches, swimming pools, ponds and basements. Puddle pumps are also available for collection of low level water from flooring and basements. If there is no electricity nearby or you want to pump out larger amounts of fluids our 2” petrol water pumps are perfect for most jobs. All our pumps come complete with a layflat dispersal hose in whatever length you require at no extra cost.

Cable Detectors and Scansmitters
Cable detectors are perfect for locating live cables underground before excavation or breaking of ground concrete. A scansmitter box is also available for hire. This is a box which, when attached to a water pipe stopcock or gas pipe earth wire, will send a pulse through the pipe which enables the cable detector to pick up where it is located underground.

Other Equipment
We have a vast range of other general building equipment including small compact block splitters, electric or petrol vibrating concrete pokers, hand bull floats and petrol power floats. Rubbish chutes are available in varying lengths to help remove rubble and tiles from above. A Leica laser level with a tripod and staff is perfect for most levelling jobs. Electric floor grinders with carborundum discs are ideal for grinding and smoothing off rough concrete and old floor paint from floors. Surface scalers (in both petrol and electric versions) are great for grinding down concrete floors and descaling roofs. Along with a vast range of hand tools (including wheelbarrows, shovels, pickaxes, sledgehammers, earth rammers) site security chests, damp meters, road cones, various signs, and much more besides, there really is almost everything available for your needs.
