STRIMMERS, BRUSH CUTTERS, LAWNMOWERS:

A Stihl petrol strimmer with a nylon cord attachment is perfect for removing and cutting down overgrown grass and stinging nettles. When fitted with a heavy duty steel blade the same machine will cut down brambles and brush easily and cleanly. Both these machines are hired with a harness and face visor as standard. Our 19” push-along Honda Lawnmower comes complete with a large capacity grass box and is perfect for small to medium sized gardens.

ARTIFICIAL GRASS SWEEPERS AND LEAF BLOWERS:

A Stihl petrol powered sweeper is perfect for removing dirt and debris from artificial lawns, as well as for fluffing the turf blades and evenly distributing sand. A Stihl “backpack” petrol leaf blower will soon remove any debris from lawns and driveways for you.

HEDGETRIMMERS:

A Makita 240 volt electric hedgetrimmer will cut most garden hedges up to 15mm thickness with ease. This comes with a long extension lead and has a two handled safety switch. For larger gardens or where there is no electric supply a Stihl petrol 600mm bladed hedgetrimmer will do a perfect job for you. They come available either as standard length, or for taller hedges, a 2.5mt telescopic option with an adjustable head to top hedges.

ROTOVATORS, TURF CUTTERS, LAWN AERATORS AND SCARIFIERS:

A Camon C8 petrol Rotovator will work wonders on most gardens and allotments when the ground needs turning over. At 63cm wide it will go through a standard doorway with ease, this heavy duty machine has gear driven wheels and rear mounted digging blades.

A Camon TC07 Turf Cutter has a width of 64cm and comes with a heavy duty gearbox drive, the 300mm blade is adjustable for cuts from 10mm up to 30mm in depth.

A Camon LA25 Aerator is perfect to keep your lawn lush and healthy. At a width of 73cm this machine will go through a standard doorway, the machine can be fitted with either solid or hollow tynes, depending on your preference.

A Camon LS42 Lawn Scarifier is perfect for removing moss and thatch from lawns which allows air, water and nutrients to reach the roots below. With a 4.8hp petrol engine and large collection bag, this machine will soon bring your lawn up to scratch.

Please note, all these machines are heavy and need to be kept upright, they will need either to be delivered or can be collected from our shop in a truck, van or estate car.

STUMP GRINDER AND WOOD CHIPPERS:

Our heavy duty Tracmaster SC30 stump grinder will easily remove most stumps from gardens and drives. With it’s pneumatic tyres and narrow width of 63cm enabling it to get into most gardens, the 8 carbide greenteeth will soon grind stumps down to a maximum of 300mm below ground level.

The Timberwolf TW13/75G petrol wood chipper is fitted with a 13hp honda engine, enabling it to chip branches easily up to a diameter of 75mm. Please note, this machine is 80cm wide and 190kg in weight, so will not go through a standard doorway.

POST AUGERS, DRIVERS AND PULLERS:

Post hole augers are available in both petrol and hand options. The hand auger is a simple way to make 150mm or 200mm holes in earth when putting up fences. For larger jobs we can supply a petrol two-man auger, which will dig into earth at a depth of up to 1mt. With a slip clutch attached, the machine will stop if it hits chalk or roots, saving possible injury to the user. For simple installation of fence posts a hand post rammer will soon knock the post into the ground with the minimum of fuss. For pulling out of old fence posts, even posts snapped off at ground level, a hydraulic post puller is capable of taking the post and concrete ball straight out of the ground for you.
